Two law professors have written an insightful column demonstrating how ultrasound laws are Constitutional. Their arguments are persuasive, and blast a hole into the theory that ultrasound laws are a violation of privacy rights. You can read the column here.

Planned Parenthood’s Major Business is Abortion
Former Planned Parenthood Director Abby Johnson has made it clear that her former employer had a laser-like focus on abortion. Statistics from Planned Parenthood’s own report confirm this. As columnist Mallory Quigley states, the abortion giant performed nearly 330,000 abortions in 2010. Equally telling, Planned Parenthood offered less than 900 adoption referrals. You can read more about Planned Parenthood’s abortion agenda here.

New CDC Data Reaffirms Why We Need A Pro-Life President
The latest Center for Disease Control (CDC) data, which totals the number of abortions nationwide, was recently released showing that during the years President George W. Bush was in office abortions declined. This finding is backed by the Guttmacher Institute’s own findings showing a decrease in the number of abortions between 2001-2009. (The Guttmacher Institute is the former research arm of Planned Parenthood.)
As we work diligently to fully restore legal protection for unborn children, we can celebrate the effect pro-life legislation and educational efforts are having right now in saving lives.
This data reaffirms why we need a pro-life president in the White House to sign protective legislation for unborn children and to veto bills, which threaten innocent human life. Getting active in 2012 will be crucial for pro-life advocates. Life depends on it.

Abortions on the Decline in PA
Pro-life advocates are hopeful because the latest abortion statistics show that the total number of abortions declined in the Commonwealth in 2010. Pennsylvania’s abortion totals would be much higher were it not for the state’s Alternatives to Abortion program, administered by Real Alternatives. The program provides everything from day care referrals to diapers to empower women to choose life for their children. While even one abortion is a tragedy, we are encouraged that the abortion rate is declining in our state.
Letter to an Abortion Center Worker
Former Planned Parenthood employee Abby Johnson has written a touching open letter to abortion center workers. Johnson encourages them to leave the abortion industry–despite the hardships they might face. Governor Signs Abortion Center Regulation Bill
Governor Tom Corbett has signed into law Senate Bill 732, which is intended to increase regulation at abortion facilities around the state. The law is a response to the massive tragedy in West Philadelphia, where abortionist Kermit Gosnell is charged with the murders of seven newborn babies and one female patient. Gosnell’s “house of horrors” abortion center had not been inspected in 17 years. The new law includes unannounced inspections of abortion facilities, among other increased regulations.
Editorial Speaks the Truth
The Lancaster New Era has an outstanding editorial explaining why the state legislature had to enact tougher regulations on abortion facilities. SB 732 is a response to the massive tragedy in West Philadelphia, where abortionist Kermit Gosnell is charged with the murders of seven newborn babies and one female patient. You can read the editorial at http://lancasteronline.com/article/local/553408_New-Pa–rules-on-abortion-clinics.html
One Lawmaker’s Courage
A state lawmaker has shown tremendous courage in voting for a bill intended to increase regulation of abortion facilities in the state. State Rep. Margo Davidson, a black Democrat, supported SB 732 in memory of her cousin, who she says died at the hands of abortionist Kermit Gosnell.
