The Pennsylvania Department of Health’s statistics on abortion are always a helpful reminder to me. Abortion is often a silent tragedy, and sometimes it’s easy to forget that there are women right in our own communities who are having abortions.
When I look at the statistics for my rural Central Pennsylvania county, they remind me that I need to be doing more to help educate and support women and their babies right here where I live.
